Romania can make up for the EU milk and meat deficit
The Romanian sheep and goats-originated dairy products have sufficient potential to cover a relevant part of the European Union deficit in this field, Gheorghe Neaţă, director general of the National Agency for Improvement and Reproduction in Livestock Husbandry said on Tuesday, during a conference previous to the INDAGRA Agricultural Fair.

Romania continues to maintain among the countries with the highest values in Europe of the number of the child death rate cases, the periodical report on the implementation of the provisions of the UNO Convention regarding the child rights shows, which was sent to Geneva by the National Authority for the Protection of Child Rights (NAPCR).The main indicator featuring the children state condition is the child death rate.

The Romanians are the Europeans who go to the cinema the least often, the figures published on Monday by the Eurostat European Statistics Office showing that a Romanian goes to the cinema an average of 0.1 times a year to watch a movie. The Bulgarians are before Romania (0.3 movies per year). At the opposite pole are the Irish.
